A second member of the Dallas Cowboys' secondary has been suspended four games by the NFL with second-year safety Jakar Hamilton being sanctioned Thursday.

Hamilton will miss the first four regular-season games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Earlier this month, cornerback Orlando Scandrick was suspended four games for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy.

I didn't even know he was in the league...

1 failed drug test = 4 game suspension
1 beating of wife = 2 game suspension

What falls under the substance abuse policy?

I thought illegal drugs fell and PED fell under the same policy, but I guess not since that one dude failed the performance enhancing drugs policy.

Goodells message is very clear. You do drugs and we'll discipline you very harsh. But you ko a woman and we'll take it easy on ya.

Yeah and obviously I don't care too much for the Saints but given this and they suspend Peyton for a year
