From Charles Power:

On Thursday morning's SportsCenter ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper, Jr. debuted the top ten players on his 2015 draft Big Board, with Alabama junior wide receiver Amari Cooper checking in at no. 6.
"Looking at the skill position players beyond the quarterbacks, you've got Amari Cooper, wide receiver from Alabama at number six. Great football player. Already very polished as a wide receiver. Very good hands and very explosive. He should be in the top ten overall when he comes out."
In his first two seasons at Alabama, Cooper has 104 receptions for 1,736 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Kiper's top ten-
1. Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State
2. Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon
3. Cedric Ogbuehi, OT, Texas A&M
4. Randy Gregory, DE, Nebraska
5. Leonard Williams, DE, USC
6. Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama
7. Brandon Sherff, OT, Iowa
8. Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford
9. Shilique Calhoun, DE, Michigan State
10. Vic Beasley, DE, Clemson

Who cares. It's the beginning of the football season and his "big board" will have 173 versions before he's done. His opinions mean exactly shite.

A&M churning out linemen isn't just a coincidence anymore I guess.

Wish the Giants could find a way to get Cooper. So far OBJ has been a bust. Let's hope he follows the same path Keenan Allen took.

SEC is lacking..... Mariota seriously? Can he really spin it that well? Suppose I should watch him play more.

I was thinking the same thing. Seems more like an athlete running a system offense.
I've never thought of him as an NFL QB.

Mariota is very good and unlike a lot of Oregon QBs he has NFL size to go along with his wheels. Accuracy will need to improve a few notches, however.

Cooper has the NFL Body, but he lacks the over the middle route catching ability. He is good in the short routes, bubble screens and deep routes, but NFL corners are able to cover those. He will have to prove he can make the other catches to be in the Top 10.

So far, he's been injured would be more accurate.

Agreed. Bust is too tough a label for now. It's just very frustrating. Did he have this hammy issue at LSU? He has barely practiced and seen absolutely zero game time. We need more from the 12th overall pick. I was pumped when we got him because he was a stud in CFB, but so far I've been majorly disappointed. Like I said, hopefully he follows Keenan Allen's career path.
