on Ticketmaster. $190 is the cheapest seat.

So the questions I have are: Will the semifinal teams chosen to go to the Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl be a "seeding" like 1v4 and 2v3, or will the bowls choose from "traditional" confrences? What if 2 SEC teams are in the playoff, along with say, Florida State? Who gets shipped off to the Rose Bowl?

1 vs 4

2 vs 3

And if there are two SEC teams (which I don't think there will be), they probably won't be in the same game

depends on who makes it.

If UCLA makes it, they wont get the Rose bowl, thats a home game for them.

If they get the 1 or 2 Seed they would definitely get the Rose. There is no rule keeping them from the Rose. Top 2 seeds get proximity advantage in Bowl selection.

To the OP, it's based on seeding. For example if FSU and AU run the table with FSU the 1 seed and AU #2. FSU gets the Sugar as they get the priority to the closest semifinal Bowl. AU would then be shipped out to Pasadena.

The 1 vs 4 game will be in the Sugar Bowl. The 2 v 3 game will be at the Rose Bowl. So last year, we would've played Bama again in the Rose Bowl, while FSU and MSU would've played at the Sugar.

It depends on who the #1 team is. If it's a Pac 12 team then the 1 would go to the Rose. That was the point of my last post. I apologize if I did a poor job communicating that.

So the ranking of the #1 team can affect where the 1 v 4 match up takes place?

Yes. #1 seed gets Bowl proximity location even if it's a bowl that normally has a tie in with the #2 seed. For example, most supposed experts have it ending up 1. FSU 2. Bama 3. UCLA or Oregon 4. Mich St.

That would put FSU/Mich. St in the Sugar and if Bama played UCLA it would in essence be a road game at the Rose Bowl.
