Would love to see him get some carries Saturday. Just watched his highlight vids again. Dude is gonna be a monster in our offense.

I doubt Barber will get buried. Kid is an animal. I think we'll see all 4 of them make some plays this year.

I see roc starting with a lot of jet sweep carries like mason did. Then transitioning into a traditional RB.

not as long as Grant is health. If Gus has shown one thing, it is that he sticks with the guys who got him there.

Hence Mason last year.

Feed the animals. Grant will get a lot of carries this year

All we've heard preseason is how grant is a feature back now.

Hope so. I've felt so bad for the kid ever since the spring game. They had him on the table near where I was sitting, and the dude just looked crushed. I couldn't hardly watch the game for watching him.

Agree with that. With all the talk about him, he had the one carry, fumble and injury. Im sure he is ready to go now.

Not according to Moncrief & Dampeer...
quote:

Before you tackle him, you never know what he's going to do," Moncrief said. "He'll juke you or he'll run you over. You've just got to be ready for whatever with Peyton Barber. He's a real special back."
quote:

I feel like Peyton Barber has it all: power and speed," Tigers center Xavier Dampeer said. "I feel like he's a big play waiting to happen.

I think all this means is that he will run between the tackles a few more times. I expect his carries to average around 10 per game.
