Anyone have any knowledge on how John Henson has looked?

Hocker was the best kicker Arkansas has ever had. Period. It was amazing having someone to call automatic from 40+ the past 4 years, my question is Henson going to be a huge dropoff? I can't help but be paranoid about another Tejada.

I believe Henson is money from 45yds and in, but he doesn't have the leg strength that hocker has.

Zach was a great asset but I can think of a pair of Steves, Little and Cox, that weren't bad either. Saying Hocker was the best ever without debate might be a stretch.

That said I can't answer your question.....sorry.

WEll look who decided to return to the land of the living. I was starting to think I was going to come over to the gaming board and remind you that football season started saturday.

Well we signed the best kicker in the country and he's neck and neck with Henson. So I wouldn't be too worried.

I did hear that Henson hit a 56 yarder the other day.

If fall camp is any indication, we should be in good shape no matter who wins the kicking job. Maybe not Hocker good, but hopefully better than non-freshman Tejada.

All of the quotes that I've read were pretty complimentary of the kickers.

Both Steves and Kendall Trainer would beg to differ. Hocker is def top 4 though

He's added some strength to them legs then, which is awesome. I remember his accuracy taking a huge hit once he went past 45yds.

I think he added around 30 pounds since last year.
