Alabama probably loses to Virginia Tech last year without it.

LSU probably never has a chance to let 21-0 happen if they didn't have filthy special teams.

Auburn and kick six.

There are probably lots more.

So who are going to be your special teams returners?

A&M will have Speedy Noil and Trey Williams. 5 stars galore. What are y'all going to do? Do your coaches not place enough importance on it? Too much to the point where you think it's an unnecessary injury risk? Let's hear about the unpredictable x-factors bound to impact games more than we can predict.

Corey Gant will be the main KO returner. He returned one for a TD against Tenn last season.

Solid kicker in Fry, Pharoh Cooper returning kicks and punts (looking forward to seeing this, actually) and probably the worst punter in the country... but at least we're playing the A&M defense, so we won't need him.

Our defense shouldn't be great, but your offense doesn't really have anything special so I expect it to be one of our better performances.

Auburn has been incredibly fortunate and well trained on special teams for the past decade or so. Srsly

Etc: "we'll" to "well" GD phone.

It's important to be good in all three phases.

correct and I wish Bama had been able to recruit a better kicker for the past few seasons; however, the fortune auburn has had on special teams should not be overlooked. It is quite impressive. To be well trained is one thing, but there have been "bounces" to say the least.

You have one good offensive player. That's nothing special.

Andre Debose is one return for touchdown away from the record for most kick returns in SEC history
