With the 3 stud running backs they have and their offensive line, they can easily control the time of possession and keep AU's HUNH offense on the sideline....I think this game is closer than most think it will be....

And yes I know Bert is fat!

go back to tiger rant and stay there because if you think this is the first time this thread has been started, you're retarded

I don't know how you know what most think it will be. Care to be a bit more specific?

No. Arkansas was 3-9 last year and was not even competitive in most games in the SEC (except LSU with a backup QB and Miss St who sucks) Auburn wins by a lot.

given the relative team strength, i would put the chances of arkansas beating auburn this year about the same as auburn beating alabama last year. unlikely, but there is a small chance if you sacrifice enough chickens beforehand

I think they will cover. They are going to be a much better team this year.

Seeing as how 75% of the posters in the ATS thread are picking Arky to cover, I would say no, it's not possible that the Rant is underestimating the Hogs chances.

Personally, I think the spread is outrageous, and that the game will be at least as close as last year, probably closer.

This.

It should be around 16-17 or so.

14.5 seems like the perfect number, but there must be a lot of national bettors that just see National Champion runner up v. Winless in conference and Bet accordingly.
