Freshman QB from Booker T Washington. Recruited with switch of offense when Roper was hired.

It isn't who starts, but who gets the most snaps. McGee will play a lot.
And Treon Harris is our backup QB.

Our defense looks pretty set to start the year. Wonder how much PT Davis & Mac get at LB.
So no RB has been named starter? Does Kelvin have the lead, or is it dead even for all 3?
Really worried about our o-line depth
If Clay has been named the starting TE, that just means Jake is terrible at blocking.

Yep, cannot afford to lose any of those guys to a serious injury.

I really like how he keeps his eyes downfield at all times, even when there's pressure and he's scrambling around. Wish Driskel was capable of doing this.
I also love his footwork, especially in the pocket. Not sure how his game will translate to this level....will be interesting to see.

He is capable...if you don't ask him to play under center and throw first every down.

The best thing for us is to have Grier redshirt and not waste a year..of course he will get lots of practice time and film room study...if God forbid an injury occurred...then he could ditch the r/s.
A redshirt year would make him a frosh next year with Driskel a senior and he can compete for starter's role in 2016. Driskel should have been r/s'ed in 2011...but got his r/s the hard way last year.
Treon can provide rest and come in with scripted plays for him. Don't discount Driskel's running ability...trust me...he can run and has legit speed. Jeff will force teams to keep a defensive player in the middle to guard against him bolting for big yards...frees up rbs and wrs.

I was convinced that our offensive staff had definitely improved...

Yeah... I mean, it might be nothing, just a nod to Clay, as a senior, on opening day... but, if you want to be pessimistic, or worried, looking at the depth chart, I'm seeing too may full backs at the B, and Clay Burton at TE. I'm seeing a lot of big, giant formations and running into loaded boxes. Just out of the shotgun instead of under center.
I'm seeing priority given to guys that can block, not guys that can make big plays...
Tell me we didn't bring a spread guy here to run big, two TE formations... please tell me I'm just being paranoid.
Please get her season. Please.

I know he does, you and I have been pretty much the exclusive supporters of Driskel that I've seen. (I think there's other, marginal support, but I think we're the only ones with any faith in him.)
He's in the shotgun, which is his strength, so it's put up or shut up time.

If will run mostly 3WR sets. These depth charts are pointless and I'm not sure why UF even releases one. All it does is make people over analyze everything.
