Just wanted to say it.
For the first time I don't feel anxious about a CFB season starting, I know Gus has done everything to get them ready.

I always figured your username was a plane but just looked on flightaware and its last tracked flight was 10 years ago

What I like is Gus knows what he has this year. You could tell he was feeling it our during the season last year. I expect him to come out guns-a-blazing Saturday.
I also like the fact that this is year two in CEJ's D. I am hoping we see fewer mental mistakes and alignment issues this year.

I came to Auburn in 96 and left in 2000 and at that time Auburn had I guess 14-16 C172s, but only four of them were painted in Auburn colors. The others were in mid 80s questionable thought process color schemes.
N97883 wasn't necessarily the best but it was a favorite. I'm not surprised it's gone as I believe they were reaching 12000+ or so hours in the 90s and you could finally purchase new ones by then. But the P models were nice planes.
I chose the name figuring I wanted something Auburn, it was a good personal memory and maybe another poster would recognize the N number.
And frankly, I have a lot of nostalgia for Cessna 172s and for my time at Auburn flying them with Auburn students.

I think the 03 season still haunts me, losing bad to USC at home followed by GaTech the next week. 02 started with a loss. 05 started with a GaTech loss. 07 was 1-2. 08 started off not so bad...

Dude, I solo'ed in N2325T. A shitty Traumahawk. Airplane was as likely to make you airsick as anything!!
