A year or so of pure anarchy sure would weed out a lot of the less desirable parts of society.

Yes, the nation is full of idiots right now. All kinds of idiots. At least half the nation .... that's why we often hear words such as "polarized" and "divided down the middle."
But when you speak of anarchy, you're basically implying Civil War, correct?
