Were the '90 expansion teams added with great tailgating in mind?

Consider for a moment the time honored tradition of eating dishes based on your opponents' mascot at the tailgate. I think the SEC realized that Florida could only carry the torch so long* when people were cooking gator tails on gameday and wisely covered the 2 most popular optiions.
Auburn has great choices for Game 1: Ribs, BBQ, ham, sausage, bacon, etc.
Texas A&M also has good options with the other white meat.
Take a moment sometime this year and tip a porkchop to Roy Kramer.
* Not counting UK's contribution of cat for 'teriyaki chicken' at some restaurants
