Why do these 5 star QBs go to Bama?

Have they ever had a quality qb to play in the nfl and be successful ? I know Bama competes for titles every year, but if I wanted to get in the nfl and be successful , I wouldn't go to Bama.

They probably just want to win a national championship and aren't too worried about the NFL. Alabama gives them the best opportunity to do that. Kids these days are so short-sighted.

He's the last 5 star rated QB to play for Alabama. Blake Barnett committed for next year.

Even there 4 star QBs were high 4 stars and top 5 or 6 in their class for thei position

What 5 star QB has ever gone to Bama recently? Barnett will be our first true 5 star QB that has signed at Bama since Brodie Croyle. Phillip Sims was probably our highest rated recruit coming out of high school in the Saban era, and he was only a 4 star.
ETA: Looks like I'm doubling up on skrayper's post, but the question is still legit.
It takes a special QB to make there mark in the NFL. We just haven't had that kind of special QB at Bama yet. Hopefully Barnett with be that QB, but who knows.
