What will make you more anxious and when does your anxiety skyrocket?
When working in CFB mine was generally the night we striped the hats first time and started taping the pads, especially if on the road.
ETA:
Also getting them into their game shoes on Tuesday, as you never knew how they would like it. I generally tried to get them into 3 pairs during doubles and let them choose, but last hc only wanted px and game set.

Collegiate marching band music gets my blood pumping for the football season. It's like how Christmas music used to get me excited when I was a kid.

Well, if we'd known in advance the jimmy-rustling opportunity that lay before us, we could have prepared more adequately. This year will be a dry run, and we'll work out the kinks and desecrate in earnest in 2016.
