Once we're obviously in a stable long-term financial situation, we'll become a more appealing option for disgruntled teams looking to move. We mainly just need OU (moreso than Texas) to prove our financial model works and for the Big 12 to win some football titles to put some shine back on our conference brand.

It would be a lot easier to sell an SEC fanbase on the Big 12 if some combo of (probably) OU and Texas ripped off 3 or 4 national titles in a short span.

LSU is understandable, since they get a bone tossed their way every now and then, and they've got Aggy as a guaranteed win, however, it's really a shame about Arky. As said many times already, Arky would be welcomed in the B12, and it would be an instant rivalry with the Okies and a renewed rivalry with Texas.

Access to Texas recruits would boost Arky into at least mid-tier status as well. Unfortunately, we've had a full generation of people who have never witnessed a time when Arky was considered a national powerhouse.
