When is the last time Alabama didn't have a bye before LSU?
I'll say that it would be stupid to not take one before Alabama. There's a gulf in talent between Alabama and every team they play, and has been for quite a few years.

getting back on topic hasnt bama had a bye before the lsu game every year lsu has had a bye as well? You probably have to go pretty far back to find where that didnt happen.
