How many times have you had a near death/should have died moment?

Twice for me.

Buddy was driving drunk on back roads, his gf was halfway naked between us, 90mph into a ditch enbankment. Knocked out, concussion, dislocated shoulder, busted nose, and burn marks from airbag. <- Worst one.

I rolled my car several years ago when I was young and dumb. No seatbelt. Crawled out with a few pieces of glass in my head and a few scratches on my hands...That's it.

Airbags hurt like a motherfricker you see a spark then wake up a few min later.

Couple of times - few times actually. Long stories. No biggies.

Teenagers shouldn't drive.

I grew up on a lake and had a waverunner. As a teenager my buddies and i would do all sorts of stupid dangerous shite and one thing was jumping backwards off the back of the waverunner at full speed while someone else drove. one time i did it i landed on a tree stump that was under the surface. landed right on my asscheek and skidded off harmelessly. an inch to the right and i would've been shitting out of a bag the rest of my life, a couple feet and i'm probably dead or paralyzed. still cringe thinking about that.

Once. Passed out under water one time in the midst of a competition. Friend pulled me out... my BFF saved my life.

I think just once, and it wasn't even that close. I was driving around some country highway in southeast Texas when suddenly I ran over two potholes in the road, making me lose control and get within twenty feet of a creek before I was able to completely brake.

Several times.

I have been shot at before and left for dead once. I have also totaled a couple of trucks.

You would think after the first time with a half naked drunk chick, your buddy would slow down.

Once when I was an infant - insane fever, put on ice. Of course I don't "remember" that one.

Another was a drug induced panic attack. I doubt I was near death, but I sure as hell thought I was dying for a good two hours.

Friend of mine got a new moped.

Other friend of mine wanted to make a late night (3AM) drunken Whataburger run for the team. As we were leaving to snag the goods, we pass the moped and Friend #2 convinces Friend #1 he can drive it because Whataburger is literally across the highway. Friend #1 forgets to mention the difference between the front and back brakes to #2...

So after we get the food and are headed back, we're going 45-50 on a straight away that turns into a U-turn pretty quick.

All I could do was watch as I was taken from a state of pure bliss, drunk with good food and the wind in my hair, into the slo-mo movie shite where your life flashes before your eyes.

My friend only used the front brake and he threw both of us off (I literally flew over him) the moped at high speed onto the median divider between a different lane of traffic.

I remember the feeling right as he hit the brakes, and seeing me start to elevate....and then boom next thing I know I'm on my feet staring at my friend....who I spilled all the drinks on and thus I thought he was covered in his own blood. (Arguably the scariest moment of my life)

We were scratched, cut, scraped, etc... to absolute pieces...but no broken bones or head trauma...

Not sure how we lived honestly, no helmets + no brakes + alcohol is not a good combo.

Surfing accident on the Pipeline, washing machined over the coral and sand. It was a wave to be proud of. (pulled out by a jet ski)

Rolled a quad, it flipped 8 times and landed on all four tires, I woke up looking at a skid late

Cliff diving in Colorado, my hand hit an underwater boulder in front of me. 1/2 a foot further out and I'm a goner.

Still do all of them, except for the surfing on the pipeline. Haven't surfed enough to tackle it like I did when I was younger.
