Was accused in rape case.

From ESPN article
quote:

A women's soccer player at the University of Missouri told police that her coach said she might lose her scholarship unless she dropped assault allegations she had made against a star football player. The running back would later be accused in two other assaults.

quote:

The reporting by "Outside the Lines" shows that two of the colleges likely violated federal law for not investigating assault allegations. The third is being sued in federal court for ignoring past allegations of abuse from two women.

This thing just won't go away. Dude served 4 months of a 5 year sentence!

First a swimmer now a soccer player. The women's basketball players better keep their head on a swivel.

This guy actually assaulted 4 women - one was the soccer player whose coach told her that her scholarship would be fine if no charges were brought, one girl he raped, another he raped digitally, and the last was a charge against his own girlfriend. They knew about the first girl - the one who was raped as well as the others.

How did he rape her digitally? Not saying it isn't possible, just wondering in what context in this situation?

Schools that just allow this shite to happen like Mizzou and OU need to be punished Penn State style to send them a message that football is not greater than humanity.

We booted DWash's arse off the team before his senior season, just like we booted DGB off the team before this season. We don't just allow it to happen, and we do discipline when it does happen

So ESPN is just fabricating all of this?

She and her roommate were friends with him and the girl had tutored him. The friend told her she'd invited him over and she was like ok and went to bed because she had work the next day. There was no drinking involved. She woke with him over her penetrating her with his hands/fingers. (I used digitally as in digits)

In TN - rape can include forcible penetration with fingers, body parts, and/or objects. Not just penetration with a penis.

Oh, I read digitally in a different way.

Didn't think it meant digits as in fingers.

Well I am not watching OTL right now but we did kick him off the team. What should our football program have done?

^Yeah I realized that and added an edit while you were posting. I didn't realize at first that it would be so confusing but I can see why it is.

You kicked him off the team after the FOURTH incident... And after he had been on campus for two additional years after being accused of rape. You don't see a problem with that? Seriously?!?

Didn't DGB have more then one incident before he was booted?

Your discipline isn't any different then most college teams. But I don't think the disciplining is the issue as much as Mizzou could get themselves in some pretty hot water under Title IX over the lack of an investigation. That's certainly not good for the school.
