Where were these odds published?

I'd take Georgia on that. Pretty favorable schedule for a championship run if they are as good as they say they are.

None of those are that appealing. Alabama too high. Auburn is way behind due to schedule. LSU is nuts. UGA is a decent one, I just don't expect them to push for the playoff. SCAR is probably the best value, but playing Auburn and Clemson negates some of their SECE advantage.

Lsu that close to auburn shows you how auburn can't handle the tough schedule. 8-4. Book it

Michigan State is the best bet on there.

Why do you have So Cal highlighted?

Call me biased....
but Auburn seems to be the best combination of decent payout and actual shot at winning the thing...
I'd take 21:1 if I could find it anywhere on the planet. All I've seen is 10:1

I disagree with the latter.
Michigan State is almost a shoe-in for the playoff now that Miller's out. Winning the B1G is now MUCH easier than winning the SEC.

Maybe we should bitch and whine about how unfair it is.

He has a point, OP. Maybe you should edit it so that our slower, Texan readers don't have to struggle with reading comprehension...

Can't disagree with that...30:1 is pretty attractive.
sidenote: accidentally upvoted my own post...probably a douche move.

As much as I hate it 21/1 for Auburn is worth a play

AU is 12/1 or 9/1 depending on the book.

I don't care what the team is, these odds to win a NC in college football are ridiculous.

I do wonder if a loss to Oregon makes it difficult to get into the playoffs even if they win the big 10. You got to think the SEC and FSU will get there. With Baylor so depleted on defense, I just don't see OU not winning the big 12. I personally think the last one will be between the PAC and Big and even if Oregon doesn't win the conference, the PAC will have one leg up on the Big.
