How Spoiled Have We Become?

I was in a hotel this morning "Drurry Inn" and was in the restroom about to wash my hands. As I held my hand under the soap dispenser it didn't "automatically" dispense any soap. As I stared at this soap dispenser I was stubbornly thinking, "I not gonna push you just to get soap." After 10-20 seconds it didn't dispense any soap so I had to break down and push the damn thing, thinking the whole time the soap dispenser just won the battle....

Chipotle was out of white rice today. I waited 10 minutes. No rice. They gave me a free drink while I waited. Dr. Pepper was flat. Root beer was flat. I went to chik-filet. Still pissed.

I've done similar, and automatic soap and paper towel dispensers are a good thing.
But I hate auto toilets.

I can do you one worse: a few months ago, the fob for my car stopped working. I pressed the unlock button. Nothing. Tried again as I walked closer. Nothing. Once more, right next to the car. Nothing. Cursed a bit and stared in frustration at fob as I contemplated having to call my wife for the spare set of keys so I could get into the car and drive home. Held that thought for a good 3 seconds before remembering that there was an actual key as part of the "set of keys" I was holding in my hand. Sighed and stuck the key in the lock and unlocked the door. Spent the drive home contemplating suing my alma mater for giving me a degree when I was clearly not smart enough to have earned it.

Agreed. Sometimes I have to stretch out so my legs don't fall asleep, but I hate the poo water splashing my nut sack from the auto flash thinking I'm about to stand up.

Extremely spoiled. But every generation it gets worse and the there is probably no stopping it. *shrug*

I also concur. I am one of those weirdo standup wipers. The auto toilet really fricks up my rhythm.
