I was looking at the schedule of a certain third-tier SEC west school and noticed they play a team named the "Blue Hose". Without googling, how many of the schools can you identify by their team names?

Zips
Fighting Camels
Chanticleers
Big Red
Big Green
Purple Aces
Vandals
Billikens
Hatters
Seawolves
Kangaroos
Shockers
Penguins

7 of them I think.

Crappy thing is most of those don't play any major football so unless you keep up with college basketball or just love cool nicknames it'd be tough to get em all.

I can only think of the Zips, Vandals, and Billikens. Wish I didn't know the latter.

Scrotie is the unofficial mascot of the Rhode Island School of Design. This isn’t a team name. But they have the hockey team called the Nads and the basketball team named the Balls.
