...would we rather play Bama in the SECCG or have to see Auburn for a second time?...
personally...i would like to beat Auburn in the regular season game, and then get some help from an LSU or Bama to knock the Barn out of contention for the West...then we play Bama in the SECCG...and win...
what say you?

Good question. Beating Auburn twice in a season would be unbelievably sweet, but payback on Bama would also be great.
I'll go with the two wins over Auburn.

It would be very tough to beat AU twice in the span of a month. Obviously bama is very good as well though. If we're talking dream scenario, then sure it'd be awesome to beat AU twice, it'd be great.

Since I detest Auburn like no other, I'll go with beating them twice.
However, if we beat them the first time I doubt we'd see them in the SECCG.

Beating "Mighty" Bama would in my mind send more of a statement especially to the media. Case in point look at the hype for OU right now.
That said, every year I root for all the teams we play after we've beaten them (Except Florida!) because that makes us look even better. So I don't know if these two philosophies gel.

Our football program needs to run the table without any help from anyone. The perceived underachievement (which I don't agree with) needs to end. 1980 was a long time ago......

4 going by memory. Someone going 15-0 in today's game is going to be insanely difficult. I don't care if we win a natty with 3 losses, just win one.

i would like to play bama...for the aforementioned reasons and because Auburn will be tough to beat twice...it would suck like no other to beat them in regular season just to lose to them in Atlanta...what would be really sweet is if the West just basically tears itself apart and we get a depleted team...or a sleeper team in the SECCG...
to the guy that talked about running the table...yeah that would be sweet...and yes 1980 was a long time ago...but the game has changed since then...we need help getting there...running the table is tough nowadays...

Understand. And I want revenge for 2012, too. However, we play them regular season in 2015....no need to turn THAT game into a revenge match for them. Let's beat Auburn twice in 2014, then beat the living daylights out of Bama in 2015.
