Why does every one on the rant think UF fans want Mullen back to be the HC?

Was Mullens name on the rant brought up alot during 09 and 10 when Meyer was was on the way out or something. Do they like to think that Foley hires any coach with Florida ties. When Mullen beat the Gators in 2010, I do remember Gator fans sarcastically saying "yeah wish he was here instead of Urban" How did this shite start? There must be a thread once a day on this over there.

Yeah this is actually pretty true.
He had the right build to come back and take over, but he could have been just as good/bad as Muschamp.
I personally would have preferred that hire just on experience alone, but que sera sera.
Muschamp is showing signs of changing and adapting, which is always good.

I highly doubt Mullen would ever get the call from UF. He has a hard time relating to kids in recruiting. Foley likes HC's that are good recruiters.

I'd say he should like HC's that win, but that's just me.
Recruiting is a piece of the puzzle, but apparently it ain't enough to win.

I will officially post my druthers....
It was Sumlin when Muschamp was hired. Then it was Strong or Franklin in the middle of last season.
Never was Mullen on my personal list.
