To re-clarify, I am not concerned. I see it as a point of pride that we have multiple teams with bye weeks before us.

Meh

We play Troy the week before Tennessee, Vandy before Mizzou, we have a bye week before Florida,
and we play Charleston Southern before Tech

Only one I'd be concerned about is Mizzou

It's a little worrisome. I am thrilled about the bye before USCe, though.

Oh, I'm not worried about it. I just thought it shows that other teams respect us enough to know that they need extra time to prepare for us.

And we have Troy @ home before UT, Vandy @ home before MU, bye before UF & Charleston Southern @ home before GT.... PLUS we have a bye before SCjr...

It's a bit of an advantage for those teams but not a huge deal... IMO

The bigger deal is back to back trips to MU & Ark. Arky could be a tuff tuff game...

Meh...with 2 bye weeks a good team or 2 is bound to have one before us.

I couldn't have asked for better placement for our 2 so I'm not worried.

Mizz is the only one that may cause a little concern, but we're so much better than tech and Tennessee and we have one before UF too so that one cancels out.

I think has more to so with the SEC than the schools. They set the schedule and most OOC games were set long before this schedule came out

You may be right. But teams usually get very advantageous bye weeks from what I've seen.

In 2010 Bama faced 6 teams that had bye weeks before them (SC, Ole Miss, UT, LSU, MSU, Auburn) and finished 10-3 (SC/LSU/AU)

In 2011 Bama faced 3 teams with byes (Vandy, Ole Miss, LSU) and finished 12-1 (LSU)
