I saw a list that BamaOnline put out a few weeks back, listing the Top 10 running backs in Alabama football history, and Sherman Williams didn't make the cut.

I think that's a travesty, especially when you look at his 1993 and 1994 seasons. Sherman Williams was well on his way to a record breaking season in 1993. He started out with five straight, 100+ yard games before the injury bug hit him.

In 1994, had bowl stats counted toward the final regular season tally, Sherman Williams would have finished his senior season with over 1,500 yards on the ground as well as nearly 400 yards receiving.

His 1995 Citrus Bowl performance still ranks as the greatest by a single offensive player in post-season Alabama Football history. In that game he tallied up 166 rushing yards, 155 receiving yards, and 38 return yards - for a grand total of 359 all-purpose yards.

Living in Forest City, Arkansas for over a decade makes people judge him by his faults.

He was my favorite player as a young kid, just as my fanhood was really getting good and started. I've been trying to find a good highlight reel from his career for quite a while. That Citrus Bowl was one of my absolute favorite games.

Lol he totally trolled Ohio State with that 52 yard scamper. You know Galloway was so mad after all the shite he talked.

I don't know, I think kinda overrated, really. Personally, their color selection pales in comparison to that of Home Depot and Lowe's, and, the quality of the paint overall isn't much better for the price compared to the big box retailers.

That would have been funny if it wasn't for the fact that the name of the paint store is Sherwin Williams.

Mine too. Guy was great in open field. Having him and David Palmer on the field together wasn't even fair.
