Where did the names originate and who said them first?
Gumps I'm pretty sure I know where it came from, but not so sure about the corndogs.

Auburn fans were their normal selves...not funny, and not original. They stole a name given to Nebraska fans and threw it at LSU.
Its stupid and makes no sense, but hey..if that's what you want to call us..sure.

I think its hilarious people call us corndogs. Its the most boring food ever and the complete opposite of the LSU fanbase, but for whatever reason I think its funny.
