Manziel has been better in preseason.

Especially if the opposing teams are going to start their third and fourth strings.

so how would johnny have fared against the scrubs? didn't do so well with ones.

Great point. Johnny played some 1's and 2's. Shaw played some 2's and 3's. Manziel also had some 1's and 2's blocking/receiving for him. Shaw had some 2's and 3's blocking and receiving for him.

Maybe Cleveland is just really deep at OL and WR, are they known for that?

If I was the Browns I would be calling the Saints about making a trade for Luke McCown because they sure in the hell ain't getting Griffin. Saints two back ups are better than all the QB's they have on that staff

We should all go vote for Grossman to get him above Manziel.

I have no idea. Probably pretty good with his legs. Shaw, looked like he had a lot more time to throw and appeared more poised. Johnny, looked uncomfortable out there. The Skins, brought it to him several times and he got flustered. He'll get settled in eventually.

It's the preseason, I'm sure JFF is told to not over due it. Play smart and safe. Don't risk an injury in the preseason. When the season starts I believe JFF will do a lot better when he reacts and just plays. So many times he could have tried to run but instead he would just float a pass to the flats and usually it would be incomplete. He will run/scramble a lot more in the season, and after all that's what makes him such a great player. Preseason is hard to judge off of for some players.

As a small time texans fan I hope we are able to pick up Shaw.

Our owner is a USC grad so maybe.

I dont know how yall are able to have any opinion on Shaw. Forget the 3rd string argument, he played against the prevent defense, and 60 of his yards came on a hail mary. Im not saying he wont be good one day, but to say he is better off last night is insane
