There was a report on wjox in Birmingham that the dawgs offense was looking really sloppy with dropped passes, bad throws, etc. Any truth to this report dawgs?

They're 10 yard indoor practice field was causing problems with defense literally jamming into the box.

What are these "passes" and "throws" you speak of?
Gurley.
Gurley.

Hudson Mason is going to be a stafford/murray combination. We all must prepare for the UGA apocalypse!

Yep, already resigned myself to 6-6. Pruitt is overrated, Mike Bobo is an idiot, and Mark Rich obviously has lost control.
Just hope we keep it respectable most games but I'm a realist.

yeah Richt said that the sloppiness came from the second team. Mason has been good so far in the preseason. We appreciate your concern though.

A serious reply, Richt was pissed with the second string O after the scrimmage Saturday. Said they were too uptight. Said "if they can't handle playing in an empty stadium, how can they play in a stadium with 95,000 and a few million on tv." Said the first string was fine. Said D and O were pretty even.

Rumors are totally true, don't let all these Georgia homers tell you any different. The offense will struggle to score this year when playing anyone with a pulse on defense.

Honest answer I think it was hit or miss this past scrimmage. We can only speculate since we were only given stats.
Was Hutson shakey? Or was it the variety of young guys missing routes? Or was it the lack of really establishing the running game? Or did the offensive line get blown up? Or was the defense just on?
Truth is we don't know. It can be spun either way. He's got 2 weeks to lock it up.
Thank God we open at home.

Yep, the offense will be awful. Nothing to look at here. Actually, almost all the Wrs have had some sort of minor to major injury so it doesn't surprise me that there are some timing issues.

WJOX simply skimmed a headline from the Macon Telegraph and then report it as news, apparently. The article was meant to pump up the defense, not shite on the offense.
From the same article about that scrimmage-

71% completion rate for Hutson Mason with two TD's in only half of the snaps, and limited Gurley/Marshall exposure to keep them healthy...
Not bad.
But hey, it's just practice right?
From the same article about that scrimmage-
quote:
Mason put up good numbers (22-for-31, 204 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT). But the more intriguing stats were behind him, as Faton Bauta and Brice Ramsey continue to compete for the backup job.
They each attempted 17 passes, with Ramsey completing more (13 to 10) and racking up more yards (187 to 152) and a touchdown.
But Ramsey also had an interception, while Bauta didn’t, and Bauta was able to be hit by defenders, unlike Ramsey. That was Bauta’s choice, as he likes to be able to run out of the pocket.
Afterwards, Richt declined to say whether he saw any separation in the battle for the No. 2 job. “They’re both capable, I’ll say that,” Richt said.
