So Devante Harris' injury sounds horrifying

Posters on both Texags and 247 are saying his "urinary tract injury" is the result of, while on the ground, getting his junk stepped on by a cleat. He had repair work done and is currently wearing a catheter for the
time being.

Most of us didn't wear them at the high school I was at.
We'd have em in for maybe the first week of practice and after all the bruising happened from the constant rubbing they would end up in the back of our lockers. I just wore compression short under my uniform instead.
Never did see a crotch injury though. I'm sure if we had those things would have gone right back into our jocks.

Most skill position players (RBs, WRs) and DBs don't wear cups. Many players feel they restrict movement.

Yeah they really are not comfortable. Once in HS I was taking some infield on my own in shoes and basketball shorts with no cup. A ground ball took a funky hop and hit me directly in the cock. Never again

I've been hit in the crotch hard by a basketball before, which had significant bruising, but still didn't go back to a cup. I did however, become much more protective in that situation.
I could never imagine the pain of having my junk stepped on by a cleat.
The worst part about it is he can't even get sympathy sex for an injury. We all know we milked injuries back in the day to get a little somethin somethin. That's probably the last thing on his mind except for "Damn, I hope this thing works again"
