I started a thread a couple of days ago asking the same question. I couldn't get a good enough answer on here so I contacted espn and asked them what was up. Well, "dan " from espn assured me that espn was working on fixing it and that in about a week (I called him this past Friday ) it would be updated and the sec network would be added to the watchESPN app on Apple TV.

I had the same problem with my Roku. August 20th is when they plan to release an update for it.

I received email from ESPN that the streaming devices (Roku, etc.) will receive the update to access the SEC Network on August 20th.

From the link posted above. ESPN probably had to send the software update to the streaming devices. Check for it on Wednesday!
