Three huge differences. This was before the BCS. Both schools were conference champions. Florida lost at FSU.

I did too. Amazing we were able to beat them in '93 and '94 with Wuerffel.
They got their revenge in '95 and '96 though.

Pretty sure some crazy voodoo shite had to happen too. OSU and Texas winning was the only way for us to be ranked #1 and they both happened.
