Have any of Saban's bama players done anything in the NFL?

Saw where Rolando McClain was coming out of retirement. He was leading such an obscure pro career, I didn't know he had even retired.

Then I started recollecting all those all Americans he's had and I don't recall any of them being worth anything in the NFL

Is it possible that they are overhyped? The benefactors of playing easy schedules?

Eddie Lacy had a great rookie year with the Packers.

Julio Jones was performing at a high level until the injury.

Defensive players are not featured on sports center as much as offensive players, but I know I've seen Upshaw make some big plays.

Some, just like any other school. Guessing which guys will translate to the NFL is an absolute crapshoot.

If I had to choose between Bama players performing at a high level in college or at a high level in the pros, I know what my choice would be. I'm pretty sure that the OP would make the same choice.

I'm guessing that this you answer to any post regarding Alabama, right?
Not a bad idea really. Stick with what's familiar. Sort of like marrying your cousin.

Eddie Lacy - rookie of year
Marcell Dareus - pro bowl
Julio Jones - widely considered a top 4 WR in NFL
dont'a Hightower - starter from day one at Patriots
Kareem Jackson - starter from day one at Texans
mark Barron - starter from day on Bucs
Courtney Upshaw - starter in b'more. Called defense in Super Bowl (not ray Lewis)
Dee Milliner - rough rookie start, but defensive rookie of month in December. Starter from day one.
CJ Mosley - starter from day one in B'more. Search his name on Twitter and you'll find dozens of nfl reporters who all say the coaches rave about him.
Mark Ingram - widely dislike by saints fans who also pull for Lsu. Likely starter for saints this year. Led team in yards and yards per carry last year.

I could go on but I doubt you really care about facts since you're just trolling.

Also, Bama has had most players drafted since 2010 draft (saban's Bama recruits). They've had most first rounders since then and the largest amount of total dollars for rookie contracts. That's what recruits care about - can I win in college, can you help me get to nfl and get paid - the rest is on them to perform at that level.
