I'm c/o 2011, so anyone that played from 07-10 is fair game and any games from those seasons are fair as well

5 players

1. Ryan Swope- I know its a meme at this point because he's white, but he played his heart out every time he stepped on the field and was a really nice guy as well. Crushes me he never got to play in the league
2. Von - my fondest memories from Aggie football while I was in school are from our 2010 win streak, and he showed out during that win streak.
3. Cyrus Gray- see above
T4- Jake Matthews and Luke Joeckel- we were incredibly spoiled in these years with how good our line was, and it was primarily because of these two along with guys like Patrick Lewis and Ced O. It was cool to see these two grow up from starting at tackle as true freshmen to eventually being top 10 draft picks

5 favorite games

1. 2010 Nebraska
2. 2010 OU
3. 07 tu
4. 2010 Baylor
5. 2010 tu

The second half of the 2010 season made me wonder what it would be like on campus if we ever progressed deep into a season undefeated, because shite was rocking that year. I'm jealous of the kids who got to be in school during the 2012 season

5 players (1996-1999 seasons)

1. Dat Nguyen
2. Dan Campbell
3. Rich Coady (went to my H.S.)
4. Dante Hall
5. Jason Webster

5 games

1. 1998 Nebraska
2. 1997 Oklahoma State
3. 1998 Big 12 Title Game
4. 1999 Texas game
5. (tie) 1998 Florida State game, 1999 Sugar Bowl, 1999 Nebraska game

You're probably wondering why 3 losses are tied at #5. Remember I was in the Aggie Band

Florida State game was a free trip to New York
Sugar Bowl was a free weeklong trip to New Orleans. Nebraska game was a lot of fun outside of the game itself.

While the 1997 game against Oklahoma was one of my favorite results, the game was 10 degrees and extremely miserable.

1. Bucky Richardson
2. Greg Hill Time
3. Quentin Coryatt
4. Sam Adams
5. Aaron Glenn

Games
1. 1990 Holiday Bowl. Suck it Detmer
2. 1992 LSU - amazing road trip. Barely remember the game
3. 1991 Texas - first home game vs the sips. Pretty sure that was the game that Buckley returned their first play from scrimmage (a screen) for a TD. Kyle was....loud
4. 1992 Texas - Aaron Glenn with a 94-yard pick 6 into the A&M section
5. 1992 Cotton Bowl - don't care if we lost. Maybe the greatest defensive performance of all-time. fricking fumbles

This was actually my first Aggie game. I lived in metro NYC for a couple years as a kid and my family got tickets to this game through my dad's job. As a kid I remember being pumped to go see Peter Warrick (I had no affiliation with A&M at this point except having some extended family from Texas that attended) and leaving loving the band and Dat Nguyen.

I went to school during the end of the RC era and the beginning of the Fran era (also called the dark ages) so I have slim pickings on players and games.

1)Reggie McNeal
2)Sammy Davis
3)Terrence Murphy
4) Courtney Lewis
5)Terrence Kiel

Games
1) 2001 Okie State game (guess this has to be the obvious no. 1 choice)
2) 2002 Oklahoma game
3) 2001 Notre Dame game
4) 2004 Texas Tech game
5) 2003 Utah game....I guess

1990-94

Players (in no particular order)

Bucky Richardson
Quentin Coryatt
Rodney Thomas (RIP)
Darren Lewis
Sam Adams

Games (also in no order)

1990 Holiday Bowl
1991 TCU
1988 Cotton Bowl (was a soph in HS at the time)
1986 Baylor - Huge come from behind win. First game I went to at Kyle (was a fish in HS at the time)
1987 tu - LOUDEST crowd I've ever heard at Kyle Field (was a soph in HS at the time)

We were undefeated at home in my five years as a student, but we played against mostly mediocre opposition. I just don't remember many huge wins. My high school years though (1986-1989) were awesome! There was still some quality left in the SWC back then. My sister is four years older than me, so I got to stand in the student section all four years I was in high school.

Players
1. Lester the Molester
2. Curtis Dickey, fastest I've ever seen
3. Jacob Green
4. George Woodard (for younger folks, a bigger Jorvorskie Lane)
5. Take your pick of the '76 graduates: Ed Simonini, Pat Thomas, Bubba Bean.

Games
1. Texas 1979. They were #6, A&M was at the end of a dismal season under Wilson. No chance. But they got it done. Loudest I ever heard Kyle Field.
2. Texas 1976. A&M won at home in 1975, too, and after a long drought. But A&M beat pretty much everybody in 75, so it wasn't a big surprise. 76 was in Austin, 27-3.
3. Tech at Tech, 75. 38-9 A&M. Followed an interminable day of listening to "Aggies Suck!" everywhere we went, which made it pretty damn sweet.
4. Tech at Tech, 77. 33-17 A&M. Not as impressive a win as 75, but by then I had developed a real hate for Lubbock.
5. Baylor 1976 at home. 24-0 Aggies. Sweet because 1) my parents were both Baylor grads and my father had smarted off, and 2) Tony Franklin kicked 64- and 65-yard field goals. I'm not a FG fan, but that was impressive.

I was there 89-94. We only lost I think twice at Kyle, once on a BS call against Arky in 89.

Players:
you're jealous of the wrong people

Players
1. Bucky Richardson
2. Aaron Wallace
3. Quentin Coryatt
4. Sam Adams
5. Aaron Glenn

Games
1. 1990 Holiday Bowl. Suck it Detmer
2. 1989 Houston. Aaron Wallace helmet incident.
3. 1989 LSU. First game at Kyle, first game of the season. opening kick returned for a touchdown. It was bonkers loud.
4. 1992 Texas - Aaron Glenn with a 94-yard pick 6 into the A&M section
5. 1992 Cotton Bowl - don't care if we lost. Maybe the greatest defensive performance of all-time. fricking fumbles. Yes. Wrecking Crew earned their name that day.

I was a student for five football seasons (2006-2010), so here's what I have after much deliberation:

5 players:

5--Jerrod Johnson. The man was the epitome of class, and IMO the type of Aggie everyone should aspire to be, student athlete or not. Talented player, yet handed over the rein of the offense with grace and poise beyond his years when it was deemed Tannehill's time.

4--Ryan Swope. I have never witnessed a wideout (black, white, or otherwise) play with more courage, tenacity, and passion than Swope. That damn the torpedoes style of play undoubtedly cost him a shot at the NFL, and I hate that for him, because he would have torn it up. As an Ag, that was exactly what we needed. He doesn't get near enough credit for his role in the Bama victory in retrospect, but that was after my time as a part of the student portion of the 12th Man. My enduring memory of Swope while watching from the east stands is his "backbreaker" touchdown catch and run against OU in 2010 that quelled the Sooner rally and sent Kyle into pandemonium. The pic of him pointing skyward as he sprints into the north endzone is one of my all-time favorite aggie football images.

3--Mark Dodge. Such an inspiration on so many levels, but especially for me as a Corps member to look up to someone who had been in the fight, and brought that leadership and ferocity to the gridiron every snap no matter what the digits on the scoreboard read.

2--Von Miller. Do I really need an explanation? Guy was a terror. Lost my shite in the stand at dKKKr when he snuffed out t.u.'s last-gasp drive with an INT.

1--Damani Felder. You've never heard of him, and that's ok. His first semester on campus was my last as a student (2010 season). He's the reason why I will always have a ton of admiration for Coach Sherman--he took a chance on my little brother, and to my knowledge Damani was the first full-time homeschool grad to walk onto the A&M football team. Wore #45 as a backup inside linebacker. Didn't remain with the team after, but that's ok, too. He got into A&M on academic merit and just graduated last Friday from Mays Business School with a Marketing degree (same as the degree I hold).

5 favorite games:

5: 2007 Okie State

4: 2007 t.u.

3: 2010 Baylor

2: 2010 OU

1: 2010 Nebraska

Reggie McNeal coming in the game vs OU in 2002 is by far the game I most enjoyed being at.

Games:

1. ’75 Sips. My fish year. The game when Texas Aggie football arrived. The only big Aggie game in my entire life when I was actually completely confident that we were going to win. For me, this will always be THE GAME.
2. ’76 @ Sips. Complete domination by the Ags. We thought we'd never lose to the sips again. At the end of the season, A&M may have been the best team in the country.
3. ’79 Sips. Completely unexpected win. Nobody saw it coming. As Finest said, Kyle Field just kept getting louder and louder and louder. Amazing.
4. ’76 Baylor. The 2 Tony Franklin Howitzers + Lester Hayes intercepting a lateral and running untouched for about 70 yards with the ball over his head.
5. ’77 @ Tech. Sorriest bunch of people I have ever been around in my entire life.

Players:

1. Earnest Bubba Bean
2. Lester Hayes
3. Ed Simonini
4. Robert Jackson
5. Curtis Dickey

3. Reggie McNeal
4. T-Murph
5. Red Bryant

Man, I got the short end of the stick to be certain.

Bowl wins? Zero.
