I know it's day one...
What are the pros and cons of this show?

I think they need guys who are articulate .

Spears is just awful!
Tebow still needs work. Maybe he is more suitable for in game commentary.
McElroy is by far the best out of the sec athletes who work for the network. He just needs to get more time and he'll be fairly pleasant to listen too.

As for all the sports. I can really give an arse about gymnastics/equestrian/soccer blah.

Agree with you take on the talking heads.

I'm good with the off the wall sports though.

I think everyone was a little nervous. They will get it right in a few, short months

I think you will see all of those sports disappear from SEC Now by the middle of next week.

Spears may be to set in his ways. Too much LSU in him

Spears is terrible. Tebow is awkward, but I think he can improve. McElroy seems a little too plastic, not natural enough. I think they can all improve.

I hope we see very little of that douche Danny Kannell.

It was a good first day. Still a few jitters but practice makes perfect. Greg has a "punch me in the face" voice that i cant get over. What he says isnt too bad though.

Tebow will become really good at this, imo. He clearly does his homework on the subjects, and he's enthusiastic about it.

Yep. He'll be one of ESPN's top guys on day. He's really smart and well spoken. Glad to see him succeed.

Tebow may be the biggest homer

I think Tebow will have a hard time saying anything negative.

Constructive criticism after day one?

At least wait until football season is over.

Everyone will get better, but yeah Spears. Lol.

I remember when Barkley was a joke on TBS though. It didn't take long and he was a household name.

These things take time.

McElroy has had a few weeks/months to smooth things out on SirusXM Sat radio.

No homerism, McElroy just has it. Great poise and seems to be a natural on the job. I think Tebow will get better with time. The main anchors were good as well.

Spot on with this post. Although McElroy sounds fine so far.

Tebow would be better in the booth I think. He's a little too awkward for this other stuff right now.

McElroy is definitely the best of the bunch.

I know it felt like it was all over the place but they were highlighting each school throughout and it's not all football for everyone. Just like the network will cover everything SEC. They have 24 hours a day to fill, it's not going to be just football orientated content nor should it be. The SEC has had some solid runs across the board in sports.

I think the network will end up being more like the intro (which was fantastic BTW) then the cover everything in two hours content.
