I callled up comcast to find out what channel the SEC Network will be on. Spoke with an Indian girl who couldn't speak English but was sweet and sounded cute so I gave her a perfect customer service rating even though she asked me if I was a Florida resident .
Anyway, she told me that comcast out of Jacksonville has the SEC Network pegged for one of these 3 channels and they'd know tomorrow for sure.
739 (Presently NHL)
741 (Presently Redzone)
421 (Presently TBS)
Not sure what they would move the present channels to. Sure hope it's not one of those damn 700 channels. Don't even know what those are for.
Anyway, thought I'd start a thread for people to post what channel the SECN is on in their area so some of us won't have to be searching.

I have Uverse and it's 607, and 1607 for HD

On the Comcast help forum an employee stated that the Evans/Augusta area will be 181 in SD and 262 in HD. Currently ESPNU is on 262, so I am unsure as to where that will be moving to. As a side note the SD channel of 181 used to be CSS so it looks like the SEC Network just took its spot.

It debuts tomorrow 08/14/14, right?
So, if I start staring at a blank TV screen at 11:59pm tonight and wait for a minute...... will Paul Finebaum's ugly face suddenly pop up on the screen at midnight?
How does this work? It's not even on the channel guide yet....

I believe it starts airing at 6 pm. I'm not sure if that's true though. Does anyone know for sure?

comcast Ted says SEC network HD will be on 262 in Augusta (Evans) Ga. That is currently ESPNU. Where will ESPNU now reside? Thanks
Apologies for any confusion, I may have made an error (it happens sometimes).
ESPNU won't be changing channel locations in your area.
In your area, it looks like SEC Network will be available on channel 181 and 744 and on ch. 1738 in HD starting August 14.
Or just go to channel 181 on August 14 and press the Watch in HD button. Thanks for your patience.

Channel 404 still isn't listed on Dish's on-screen guide.

I've got the SEC Network Icon on the Comcast Channel guide now.............
It shows "Off-Air" all the way through until 6pm today, where it lists a show called "SEC Now".
If you put it on the channel now, it just shows the SEC NEtwork icon with all of the SEC team logos bouncing around and such......with some espn-like dramatic music in background.

From 2am until noon tomorrow, they're showing "Classic College Football" games back to back. Every single one of them featuring Alabama.
WTF?
The Bama CHannel?
