No doubt we will have a fight most every week.

Good thing we have luck on our side.

Pretty sure Kentucky is in the SEC as well. Need to BOLD so you can see 6 instead of 5.

ps, nice subtle troll of Alabama in the west.

Schedules? We talking about schedules? Seriously, I think that Thursday night game for Auburn in Manhattan, KS is tough one. I think they will win, but those Thursday night games are for other conferences, not the SEC.

I haven't looked yet but isn't bama's schedule ranked in the 80's/90's?

From that same site...
The 10 Most Delusional Fan Bases In College Sports LINK

10 South Carolina - Football
9 Michigan - Football
8 UCLA - Basketball
7 Alabama - Football
6 Syracuse - Basketball
5 Oregon - Football
4 Indiana - Basketball
3 Arkansas - Football
2 Kentucky - Basketball
1 Notre Dame - Football

2 of these do not belong on this list. Interestingly they are both in the SEC.

I'm sure you're right considering bama will be so well rested through most of the season

Easiest way to eliminate the Bama schedule argument is for your team to beat them, as AU did last year. Instead of wishing they'd play some schedule that you approve in hopes that they'll lose a couple of games, just focus on your team getting the job done.

I think what makes some fans mad is that more times than not their team hasn't been able to get the job done against Bama. They get upset about the loss and then start hoping someone else beats Bama. They realize it's unlikely and instead of acknowledging that Bama is simply better than 90% of the teams in College Football year in and year out, they whine and complain about "schedule", as if adding one more difficult game will cause the season to come crashing down on the Tide. It's a tired and pointless argument. Simple solution - just beat them.

But I thought no one beats Bama. ... Bama only beats themselves?

Football is a marathon when you have a tough schedule. Easy to play 2-3 good teams a year instead of 5-6

But you are right. Have to beat em to talk shite

Playing a tough schedule makes it much harder to maintain an elite level of play the entire year.

Playing a shite schedule allows you to get it up for big games only then coast 10 weeks a year. Less injuries, less fatigue, reveal less playbook, etc.

Note: I'm not naming teams in this post.

I've never said that. South Carolina beat them in 2010. Like a drum. LSU and AU beat them that year too. A&M beat bama in 2012. AU & Oklahoma beat Bama in 2013, though I think even the most committed AU fan would admit that a play that has only occurred ONCE in the past 30,000 college football games was a bit unique.

Bama's last 5 loses have been:
Oklahoma 2013 - 14 points
AU 2013- 6 points
TAMU 2012 - 5 points
LSU 2011 - 3 points
AU 2010 - 1 point

With the exception of the Oklahoma game, you're talking about very close scores. Any team that loses a close game played some role in their own loss (turnovers, missed FGs, etc). That's not unique to Bama.

Nothing like pre-season SOS lists. They're probably less accurate than pre-season poll rankings.
