Capitalism isn't fair, deal with it. With that said, capitalism is the only reason he has a job, which is all he's trying to do.

What a moron.

According to a report Monday by the Salt Lake Tribune, subscriber fees are at the heart of the Pac-12 Network/DirecTV stalemate. The Pac-12 Network insists on identical subscriber fees (usually a few dollars per month) for each cable/satellite customer, regardless of whether or not that household is in the conference's six-state "footprint" (California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah and Colorado). The SEC Network, on the other hand, is charging more per subscriber in SEC country than it is nationwide.

or, when you can't win in the free market of ideas, use crony-capitalist politicians to tilt the playing field in your favor.

I predict it will be less than a year into the SECN, before we hear these guys start throwing around terms like "conference profit sharing" to test the Power 5 on ideas that would prevent the SEC from having a competitive advantage. Just wait and see.

He should have built his conference network with a TV partner. Or not create SEVEN freaking networks.

It wouldn't have to do with the fact that their biggest name, USC, was down at the launch of the network, and the fact that the east coast just doesn't get that excited about football games that start at 10pm would it Larry?

He's killing his father.
