Wasn't my favorite actor but I did not see this coming, especially not the suicide.

His best movie was awakenings with deneiro. Actual good movie, acting, writing, direction, score, and foley art. Damn fine set decorations too.

3 academy awards but i do agree with the critics on wikipedia. Do yourself a favor and dont read what the critics said in 1990 as posted on wpedia. It will ruin the movie.

Agreed. Great movie.

It's sad but not surprising. Heard he was battling depression for a while.

Dude touched 3 or4 generations with his acting career...from Mork and Mindy to Aladdin to Mrs Doubtfire to Patch Adams to Good Will Hunting....He was a great comedian that never needed to cuss or degrade for laughs.... Very sad. RIP Robin Williams

ETA: coulda done GMV, BC and 10 other movies, just picked a few that were generation gaping movies

Yup....seen a ton of his stand-ups....again he never "needed" to do it. I didnt say he never did it.... That is very rare for comedians....
