and if he is the star of the SEC Network, I wish it would go away. What a bunch of baloney!! If he is the poster boy for the SEC, then all SEC teams should wear overalls & go barefoot. He glamorizes the idiot fans (Updyke, etc) and all the world will think we are all like that

This is true. See the 30 for 30 on the iron bowl that reduced the great rivalry to little more than idiots yelling back and forth on the radio and then poisoning trees.

I made a similar comment on his syndicated radio show on XM, and they spent the next half hour twanging about how stupid I am. I have no interest in listening to the unwashed rednecks spout off in public. No good comes of it, and I just get frustrated.

OK you don't like Pawlllll matter of fact you hate him BUT that jump to wishing the SEC Network to go away is a huge jump.

Its Jerry Springer -- that's not the SEC history & tradition. The great coaches of this league were tough, but they were gentlemen.
Finebaum's crap appeals to the "soccer hooligan" fans who have never been on an SEC campus.
Wish I knew how to get him off the SEC network, but Im afraid they choose him because of this.

Finebaum is the SEC's #1 fan and he looks like the spawn of a Jewish bridge-troll that had sex with a talking penis.

When you mix his interactions with inbred mouthbreathers that are most likely morbidly obese and severely uneducated, well by gawd you have the recipe for making the SEC even more hated than it already is.

And that, my friends, is a good thing.

tbh, the summer/offseason shite with him is unbearable because he just pits the most outrageous people together and has them fight. During the season when they actually try and get some good guests and all I enjoy hearing some of the interviews. he does.

I listened to it for a couple hours the other day when I borrowed a car and didn't have any good music options and it was horrible.

Yeah, I've watched a couple times and it's cringeworthy. The extremist alabama rednecks that call that show are not who you want to represent the SEC fanbase nationally.

They chose him due to his astronomical ratings in Alabama. They didn't realize the gulf between Alabama and the rest of the SEC states when it comes to the extent to which the states' populace lives through college football.
