Do Florida and Georgia fans prefer to play in Jacksonville every year?

Was talking with one of my Georgia coworkers during lunch today and he said that he wished they would do a home and home every once in a while. Just curious.

I know Auburn and Bama used to play in Birmingham every year, but to me, you can't beat a good home and home between two passionate rivals.

Then again, the atmosphere at the Cocktail Party is hard to beat too. What other teams do this? I know Texas and Oklahoma.

Yes. Forever. No questions asked, period. Keep it in jax.

Either he's an idiot or you're making that up as bait.

Why don't they do a 3 year rotation?

@UGA, @UF, @Jacksonville

Seems like everyone wins

I live in Atlanta and I know tons of UGA people who would like to see the game in Athens every now and then.

Yes. Even the most die hard UGA fans will tell you this.

Because there's no point in changing how it is now, in addition to spitting directly in the face of the history and tradition of the rivalry.

-Are they alums
-Do they go to Jacksonville currently
-What is their age
-Do they go to any games

Answer me those questions before I can start insulting them.

Not sure I get the "even UGA fans" part. We've always wanted it down there. The idiots who wanted it moved when we started losing are the EXTREME minority and do not represent our fanbase. 95%+ of UGA fans want and have always wanted it in Jax.

Everybody but Jacksonville... there are tons of businesses that survive another year based on this week alone.

For the record, the UGA fan was the one who brought this up. He lives in ATL and rarely gets the chance/time to make the trip to FL. I was merely interested what you fans thought.

Yes because Frat Beach is a necessary event that all UGA students/fans should experience while in college.

Well there's your answer. He doesn't care about history or tradition or holding sacred one of the things that makes that game unique.

All he cares about is it being an hour down the road so he can go to it. He's selfish.

Grew up in GA, went to UGA, know tons of UGA grads.

I'd say split among them for home and home vs. Jax is 50-50.

I'm sorry, but I simply don't believe you. I also grew up in GA, went to UGA, and know tons of UGA grads. I also PROBABLY associate with more UGA fans than you do. And I don't know one single, solitary UGA fan that wants the game moved. The only one that would be close to wanting that is my 65 year old uncle because it's hard for him to make big trips anymore, but he uses that week as a fall vacation and stays down there for a while, so he wants it there too.

The only people who want the game moved are:

-young people who can't make the trip to jax
-old people who dont' like the party scene
-people who have never been
