Alabama will struggle to get to 8 wins regardless of "talent" if Sims is your Qb. You know in your heart its true.

We could run a wildcat with Yeldon, Henry, Drake, and Sims in the backfield, Cooper out wide and OJ Howard at TE and be just peachy.

Basically, we'd just get Gus's HS tapes and run that.

Add in an almost new O-line, no C.J. Mosley, unknown NG... But yeah, #1 in the SEC while breaking in leaders on both sides of the ball.

I agree, to an extent. It'd be the same with Coker though. An 8 win season is a lot more possible than people think. Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU, Florida, and A&M are all VERY loseable games for the Tide. Then that isn't even factoring in West Virginia getting their groove back and Trickett getting hot against a young secondary if our QBs struggle and OL sucks. No matter how much anyone hates to admit it, Arkansas may also present some problems. They're gonna be pissed and out for redemption after the last two seasons, and they have a good OL + a stable of backs that can all go for 100+ on any given night. Throw in one of the best TEs in the SEC in Henry, and a bad day for the offense could spell an upset.

My biggest concern

Landon Collins

Returning vets on both sides. T.J., Collins, DePreist, Sims, Devall, Ragland, etc.

I agree. Sims is not the guy IMO. Spring game showed me everything I needed to know as a fan.

I haven't given up on Sims, and I'm not sold on Coker. But someone most Bama fans on the internet trust said not too long ago that Sims was like Phillip Sims. Look great in practice, doesn't look great in games.

You could be right but I don't think so. 10 or 11 wins for Bama. Don't think they will run the table.
Facts: Bama will beat Auburn. Bama will have more wins than Auburn.

I think Alabama could lose 1-2 games, with 3 being the floor (but not likely). They have recruited at such an unbelievable level its difficult to fathom them dropping off to a 4 loss season.

However, I see LSU struggling this year losing 3+ games.
