Looking over our class and the coaches comments I think we'll see 13-15 of the true freshmen play. We also have 4 transfer newbies that will play a lot and maybe start too.

FB - Tyler Colquitt NR Walk-on that won scholly in the summer
RT - Brian Wallace 4* Consensus Top 5 OT
C - Frank Ragnow 4* Moving from OT to C
TE - Jack Krauss 3* 6-5 260, will see some time in heavy packages
WR - Jared Cornelius 3* Will start in the slot.
WR - JoJo Robinson 4* Miami kid, helps in ST immediately
WR - Kendrick Edwards 3* Miami kid, 6-6 w/ speed and hands. Gives us a red zone threat we've not had since Marcus Monk
DT - Bijohn Jackson 4* set power lifting records, will play alot & has "an incredible, incredible arse.|
LB - Randy Ramsey 2* Overlooked, late bloomer. Was MVP of a Florida all-star game. Added 20# of muscle since getting on campus.
LB - Dwayne Eugene 3* Dude will be a stud for us before he graduates.
LB - Khalia Hackett 3* Will provide depth later in the season.
CB - Santos Ramirez 3* Lots of competition for PT in our secondary, thank god! He'll play.
CB - Henre' Tolliver 3* He just might be starting by mid-season. Our veteran CB's are just terrible.
S - Josh Liddell 3* Tremendous athlete and leader. Plays smart and fast. Could start at some point.
K - Cole Hedlund 3* Not many kickers get 3*'s which is crazy b/c they win and lose games all the time. National record holder in a couple kicking stats.

Who's gonna see the field on your squads?

Oh Lawd !! That's a lot of 18 year olds.

We're hoping to RS about a dozen

Kendarious Webster, CJ Hampton, Maquise Haynes, Rod Taylor, Markell Pack, Sammy Epps and Demarquis Gates will definitely see the field... Hopefully we can RS the rest.

WR: If Cam Sims doesn't take a redshirt, he'll play late in games and may eventually find his way into a rotation. Problem is while he has shown he's talented, we're stacked. I expect Kief to redshirt.

OL: Cam Robinson is the starter at LT. By all accounts he's been walling everyone in one on one drills. Excited for him to play. Then there is Josh Casher, who has had some good hype in camp so far. He may play as a reserve. Ross Piersbacher (who I thought would be a Guard, MAYBE a RT) has been impressing as the second team LT. JC Hassenauer will probably redshirt.

DL: Da'Shawn Hand figures to play a lot, as you'd expect. Josh Frazier may still redshirt, but has had a really good camp. At 335lbs, he's not sloppy. Rest will likely RS.

LB: Christian Miller is talented, but he himself wants a redshirt to add muscle. He's really slim and needs to grow into his frame before he's ready to play SEC ball. Rashaan Evans has been going hard in camp and wants a role. I think he plays a lot of ST early and eventually becomes a third down pass rusher. Shaun Hamilton will play in garbage time to get experience, we're thin at ILB. Same with Keith Holcombe, who will probably be a ST stud. He's been popping people.

DB: Tony Brown may start. We thought he'd start vs WVU, and he still might, but Cyrus Jones and Bradley Sylve have turned a corner. We'll see if that plays out. Word was Brown went up against Coop a bit in the scrimmage and held his own. That'll get you on the field. I think he'll either start the whole season or eventually start. Marlon won't redshirt, but I don't see him starting yet. Needs to put on some muscle. I think Hootie will play late in games for experience. Really smooth at 6'2" 221lbs. Ronnie Clark is another big Safety, I think he redshirts.

JK Scott will likely be out starting punter.

RB Sony Michel

Everybody is hyping Fournette, Roc and Chubb but Sony was my favorite all around back in last year's class.

Mason keeps saying he thinks 17 or 18 of te 22 play but I don't see how that's really possible. That said I do think you see around 10 guys play which is quite a few more than Franklin would play.

4* DE Nifae Lealao
4* WR Trent Sherfield
4* S Emmanuel Smith
3* WR Caleb Scott
3* RB Dallas Rivers
3* CB Bryce Lewis
3* CB Tre Herndon
3* S Ladarius Wiley
2* ILB Hawkins Mann
2* DE Riley Tindol

Both Chubb and Michel have been beasts so far in camp according to reports. It appears that the future of the UGA backfield is in good hands post Gurley.

michel is a beast but from watching his videos, he lacks the power and break away speed that fournette has. fournette breaks away with ease. very talented though. lots of exciting young talent all over the SEC

I would add Shaq Jones and Keyon Brown to that list. Rico Johnson could play on STs too. I would take Gaillard off. Looks like he's headed for a RS

I agree with you about LF... He'll have the biggest freshman year out of those 4 I just named but after Fournette goes pro following his junior season I wouldnt be surprised if Michel is the best all around back in the SEC heading into 2017... He's special.

I cannot believe I forgot about Shaq and Keyon. Good call on those guys. I included Lamont strictly because of Coach Rocker's comments on his proclivities to keep guys fresh and rotating a lot. Recent reports are saying that Lamont came in at a good weight and now that Taylor is off the team, Gaillard could be the beneficiary.
