Agent Muschamp will receive the highest commendation possible if he manages to make it out of Manchuria alive.

This is exactly what going 4-8 and losing to Georgia State will do

To be fair have you seen their home schedule? They have us and LSU.. that's it.

First 3 games are Idaho, E.Michigan, and UK.

They also have Mizzou and EKU at home.

Guidos don't support teams that went 4-8.

Bandswagoners will jump on soon enough. Poor ole Florida we are in such a bad swing...don't pay us no mind. We will throttle the leghumpers in the WLOCP.

It will be fun watching them come out of the woodwork. I think UF's year will look much more like 2012 than 2013

Which is why stadiums all over the nation are having issues selling out. The fan experience on a recliner in front of a 70 inch big screen is cheaper and better than in the stands, especially when there are only two decent home games on the schedule. This is why the Big 5 will eventually only play the Big 5.

Outside of LSU and South Carolina, our home schedule blows this year.

Doubt it...Muschamp helped to kill Texas and now he's doing the same at Florida.

At one point I, like many, thought he might be a good coach… But it's pretty evident now that he's not.

His decent looks and fiery passion got him noticed and a seat at the big boys table, but unfortunately it appears he didn't deserve that seat. He's a lame duck coach...if not this year, then next he gone.

There are other ways to make it more appealing. No one wants a 12 game gauntlet and UF will have FSU at home every other year but they can take a page out of our book and A&Ms book.. schedule a decent team that your team should beat but isn't the same as smashing an E.Michigan.

For example SC with ECU and A&M with the SMUs and Rices of the world.

How exactly did he help kill Texas?

There were certainly other issues at Texas, but IMO Muschamp as HCIW was a cancer that eventually took its toll on Mack Brown and the entire program, especially when things got really rough in 2010. Oddly enough, as soon as he left for Florida, Texas gradually began improving the next couple of seasons.

It's just interesting to see Muschamp go to Texas, a proud, elite power program that is used to winning 10-11+ games every year ...they eventually fall apart at the seams as a program a couple years after his arrival on the scene as Associate Head Coach HCIW ...now he goes to Florida, and the same thing is happening all over again.... in 2013 fall apart at the seams a couple seasons after he's gotten Into the program. There is a pattern here IMO.

I just think it's becoming pretty clear that WM is not very good at being in charge or having a leading "head-coach"-like role at an elite program.

I'm the first to admit I was wrong about him...I bought all the hype way back when as well that he was the next great thing. But it's looking a lot like he's a dud and just doesn't have "it."

He probably would have been fired after last year, but fortunately for him he stumbled and bumbled his way to a "how-the-hell-did-that-crappy-team-finish-11-1-year" in 2012.

It's sad how low Muschamp has taken this once proud program

That's a major problem for Florida IMHO.

They need to up their scheduling.

They've got UCF right there in their backyard, and Miami. They play FSU every year, I get that. Like SCAR plays Clemson, UGA/Ga Tech, Kentucky/Louisville, etc.

But Florida needs to up their scheduling game when it comes to their OOC schedule.

Schedule home and homes with USF, UCF, ... then reach out and leave the state for an OOC every now and again. Quit boring your fans to death with games in which you have nothing to gain and everything to lose.

Idaho, Eastern Michigan and Eastern Kentucky ... that's just bad.

New Mexico State in 2015 ... I mean it just seems like UF goes out of their way to schedule the absolute worst teams they can find sometimes. ECU is not a bad schedule but does UF ever go to their place in exchange?

UMASS and North Texas in 2016?

At least keep it in the state of Florida, get the fans from the other schools coming to the games.

The Swamp is such a venerable venue. I'll never understand why they schedule the way they do.

They could reach into border states like we do with NC.

A Troy or a USM would be better games than what they have and would probably bring a respectable amount of fans with them.
