Will the SEC East be able to keep up with Mizzou's ever evolving offense?

As of today, Marcus Murphy is still listed as the No. 2 tailback on the team’s official depth chart, Pinkel said. But with each day, it sounds more and more like he’s making a full conversion to slot receiver.
“Murph looks like he’s played there his whole life,” Pinkel said. “We know the great quickness that he has. …He’s enjoying it. He’s having a good experience. It allows us to do a lot of things.”
As the No 2 running back last season Marcus Murphy rushed 92 times for 601 yds (6.5 YPC w/ 9TD'S) Murphy is also a 2012 ALL SEC returner compiling 4 TD returns on special teams. The last player who possessed a similar skill set to Murphy's for Mizzou was Jeremy Maclin.
The return of the WR jet sweeep to Mizzou's offense is upon us
Mizzou's Murphy converting to slot WR

When you have a fast receiver running the sweep, it should work perfectly

Another Mizzou self appreciation thread? Color me shocked.

Except now the defenses we are playing are just as fast. Let's just stick with the offense we used last year

Well at the very least we know the bubble screen will be featured more often this season to take advantage of Murphy's speed on the edge. Murphy catching passes over the middle with his speed though does sound intriguing

Florida will make that "ever evolving offense"'s arse quit

I figured Missouri teams enjoyed being tackled by other men.

Sounds like you're thin at WR. Since you've moved him, sounds like you're now thin at RB too.

Mizzou will at the very least match the 36 they put up last season

Mizzou is not thin at the RB position. Murphy rushed for over 600 yds, Hansbrough ran for 685 yds (6.0 YPCA w/ 4TD'S), Steward also carried 24 times for 84 yds and will be used more during the upcoming season.
Mizzou is not thin at the WR position either, all of you idiots saying we don't have WR depth make me laugh when Mizzou runs out of 5 WR sets most of the time compared to teams who use 2 WR sets (i.e. Georgia).

Jet sweeps, bubble screens...
Just go away MS2.
Just go away MS2.

Absolutely not. Nobody in the East can stay with Missouri. You are on a tear that will last the next 10-20 years, winning all SEC East titles.
