Haven't seen him lately. Figured he'd be doing some SECn stuff as well.

Hope so, he seemed like the best one out of a bunch of douchebags.

Yeah I saw him just the other day. Although it really is a rare occasion to see him it seems.

There is way too many SEC East products on the SECN staff/ESPN in general.

DP was a great player ... but he can be too much of a UGA homer for my tastes at times. He just rubs me the wrong way as an analyst.

He comes off as a douchebag sometimes.

I like Carter from Florida. He's very knowledgeable and is great in front of the camera.

Agreed.

I am kinda surprised that they didn't stick Pollack with the SECN.

Carter is arguably the least knowledgeable of all the analysts on the U. The other day he claimed UT would have one of the better offensive and defensive lines, because of their depth - never mind the fact that they have to replace every starter from the year before.

Carter's selling point is his ability to be articulate, and he was a good player..it pretty much ends there, in my opinion.

Carter is the best analyst IMO, but he does not make outrageous statements so he is stuck at Espn U level shows

I don't get the Pollack as a homer vibe. I like him. He knows what he's talking about and is enthusiastic about college football.

Carter strikes me as the type that just repeats whatever the producers hand him - that comment about UT's line depth being a good example.

Pollack's gotten better, IMO.

Just because he picked UGA to beat Carolina in 2012? For the most part he's gone far out of his way to NOT be a homer.

This. I swear that is the only time or maybe 1 other, that he actually picked UGA to win on Gameday

He's definitely a homer and I can't stand how hyper he is. It's a little too much on a groggy morning.

Someone give him some devils lettuce and I don't think I'd have an issue with him.

Dude, he simply misspoke. You don't actually think he thinks that, do you?

Just because you don't like the guy doesn't mean he's a homer.

And yea, he's like a puppy up there.

Maybe I don't like him because I think he's a homer?

He's picked UGA on Gameday around 15 times. He's been wrong about 4 of those picks. Not a bad ratio.

So you can call him a homer but he's definitely gotten better the last couple of years picking against UGA. He picked against them in the last 2 SECCGs and Florida in 2012. Also picked South Carolina over Georgia last season when we won that one as well.
