The only teams in Alabama that are "hated" by a large number of people in the state are Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, and Georgia.

Makes sense. We are Clemson's 1 and only true rival and all though Clemson is far and away our primary rival there are many-a-Gamecock who might list UGA or even UNC, for those that live in NC.
I imagine the UGA and UNC fans that live in our borders feel the same way as our fans that live in theirs.
Same reason Texas is Texas, Michigan is Michigan etc.
