22 days till season starts. What old games are you watching to get your body ready?
Tonight, Im sitting in the basement, tying some jigs and watching the 2010 SEC Championship game.

Been watching the Iron Bowl bit by bit today.
SECCG tomorrow, Georgia on Friday, then band camp starts on Saturday.

I'm sticking to YouTube videos of kick six reactions, old intro videos, and replays from 2010 and 2013. Have all of them on DVD now

Rewatched the TAMU game last night.....have not watched the IB 5 times like I promised. By the way, what channel are they showing the old games on?

I did tonight. 3/8 and 1/2 ounce...... I call them Green Pearl...
White Pearl with some green crystal in it....
My head design is really not a swim jig but it works pretty well at it. I am using a 60 deg Ultra Point Mustad. Its my casting jig. If I want to do a actual swim jig, I would go with a 30 deg hook but I don't want to buy new molds

I've already rewatched everything from last season except WCU. I'll probably go back to 2010.

It's gotta come through this Coosa grass. I really like the Davis swim jig, but I have trouble finding them and when I do, they can be expensive.
I need to settle on a flipping jig too. Pitch just about err body's jig at some point and haven't found one that I just love yet.

Yea we swim my jig in open water here.. I am swimming it in 30 feet of water, about 15 feet down. Fish eat is suspended.
I usually just rip the weed guard right out of it, put a swimbait trailer or twin tail and go to casting...
Like I said, its not a true swim jig but It really works just as good as one.

Watched the 2013 Iron Bowl the other night. First time I saw the complete game on TV. I was there.

Well, been back at tying jigs for the weekend. I am going to be off the lake for the next week so I can get caught up. That means lots of replays on the laptop while I am tying jigs all day.
Yesterday and today, I have rewatched the 1989 Iron bowl (thanks to Sandman), the Outback bowl against Northwestern, the Oregon game and the 2005 Georgia game.
I am done tying for today but I will be down there almost all day tomorrow. I need a play list...

Worked downstairs all morning. I watched the 09 West Virginia game. Rain game. What a damn mess.
A couple things come to mind after re-watching that game
1. I hate Noel Divine. He raped us two straight years
2. Like it or not, Ted Roofs Defense won us that game. Our offense sucked.
3. Kodi at wildcat
4. Chris Todd deserved more more credit for his passing ability.
5. Auburn fans showed up.
