I haven't been to a practice (probably goin to the scrimmage this Saturday) but I have seen photo galleries on both Scout and Rivals... Take your best guess at which freshmen will RS... We'll revisit this thread the day after the Memphis game cause we'll have a pretty good idea at that point... Here's the class (took out the jucos)... Names in bold will RS imo...

D.K. Buford
Kendrick Doss

Sammie Epps
Victor Evans
Demarquis Gates
C.J. Hampton
Dayall Harris
Marquis Haynes
Garrald McDowell
Alvin Moore
Calvin Moore

Markell Pack
Tyler Putman
Sean Rawlings
Jordan Sims

Breeland Speaks
Rod Taylor
Kendarius Webster
Gary Wunderlich

ETA: took Chris Williams off the list

Chris Williams did not get cleared.

I agree with your list. Maybe Wunderlich though? I wonder if Pappa could get the job done this year.

I had high hopes for Vic Evans but I haven't heard a word about him yet..

Chase Parham keeps talking about his length and wing span... Not his size... With a DE that usually translates to a RS year... He may end up being the jewel of this class if he stays healthy and plays here 5 years.

Ready to see this dude play

FWIW, I think you nailed it right on the head. How is Kailo Moore doing in the return game? Would love to redshirt Dayall if possible, but with next years class, I don't see why we would need too.

I figure Gates will RS since he's coming off an injury. Unless we just NEED him or he just is too good to keep off the field I figure they will RS him.

I agree with everyone you bolded for the most part. I hope Webster redshirts because that means everyone stayed healthy and everyone progressed the way we hope they do.

I'd add Breeland Speaks. He came in fat and out of shape and we currently are loaded at DT and he is too big to line up at DE.

Tyler Putnam isn't on the roster for some reason.

If Speaks RS then our Dline has an absolutely filthy season and we have very very few injuries up front... He would 100% be in LSU's DT rotation this year.

Gates's name continues to come up in practice reports.

I really thought he'd need a RS. Pleasantly surprised if he cane perform right away.

Gates will play... He showed up in great shape and he's the healthiest he's been in over a year.

Doesn't he play Denzel and Birds position? We also have Keith Lewis there. I'd hate to burn a RS for special teams

Denzel won't play the first game and some of those guys you listed will get nicked up at times as the season goes on... Gates, Haynes , Hampton, Webster , Epps and Taylor's names just keep coming up... Won't be able to keep those guys off the field.
