@bmarcello: Auburn scrimmage this morning went about 70 plays. Scrimmage was more run-oriented, "two out of three times," Malzahn said.

Get use to it as long as Gus is here.

Everyone thinking we are going to throw it all over the place with Nick this year will be disappointed.

And its the right thing to do

You've never led the SEC in rushing before? That's odd.

no team has ever defended a rushing title for the conference? that just seems unlikely

The 2013 Auburn team was the first SEC team ever to lead the nation in rushing yards.

FWIW I never thought this. I always thought it was the AU fans touting the AU passing anyway because of that JUCO WR?

I mean, I agree with you in that if aint broke don't fix it.

We will throw it a little more. But it wont be balanced. It will still be heavy run until it gets stopped. Then he will start to adjust

We'll pass it more. I highly doubt we will have a game where we pass it a total of 7 times. We aren't going to be TAMU or anything, but it will still probably be 60/40 run/pass

FWIW, Florida won consecutive "rushing titles" in 2008 and 2009.

feel like lsu did in 97 and 98 too, but he changed the thread title to national rushing title, so that makes more sense

You guys ran the ball on 72% of plays from scrimmage last year.

You threw more than 25 passes 5 times last year. All 5 games were either losses or won on your final possession.

I think its safe to say you will be throwing a lot more this year....
