I have been a season ticket holder for over 20 years and this is the first time I have ever seen that info.

In our packet we got yesterday, the fan guide said something about having your phone ready to scroll down to the next ticket quickly so not to hold up the line.

Technology is amazing.

I get my season tix through a friend, did it say how you could use the phone app? Just curious if I will be able to use it, or only the person whose name is affiliated with the tickets. I hope so, I'm absolutely OCD about having/bringing my tickets.

They used a version for Bball. Allowed you to upgrade. Did not use it.

Dear Auburn Football Season Ticket Holder,

We look forward to another exciting season of Auburn Football and appreciate your support as a valued season ticket holder.
Please make note of the following information regarding tickets and gameday:
Season Ticket Shipment
Tickets are currently shipping from our printer in Arkansas.
Tickets are shipped Fed-Ex 2-day or Priority Mail (2-3 day delivery) based on your delivery selection when purchased.
You should have already received an email or will receive an email this week with your Fed Ex tracking number or Priority Mail number when tickets ship.
Fed Ex: Unless you have a signature release on file, Fed Ex will require a signature for delivery. Fed Ex will make up to 3 delivery attempts before returning the package to the Auburn Ticket Office.
Priority Mail: Takes up to 2-3 days for delivery. Mail carriers will sometimes leave a package pick-up slip in your mail box requiring you to pick up at the post office. Your priority mail number will only show when the package is delivered to your home or the post office.
Will Call: If you selected Will Call, your tickets will be shipped to the Auburn Ticket Office and held for pick up with a picture I.D. Please contact the ticket office prior to pick up to ensure your tickets are ready.
Away Games Ticket,Single Game Ticket, & Mini Plan Orders
Orders for away games, single games, & mini plans will ship separately by US Mail or held in Will Call if requested. We anticipate these tickets to be sent by August 15th.
We are currently awaiting a final shipment from one of our road opponents to begin the allocation and shipment process, we apologize for the delay.
Ticket Scanning
Auburn will continue to utilize ticket scanners this year in Jordan-Hare Stadium giving fans the ability to print tickets at home, have mobile tickets delivered to their smartphones, transfer tickets to other Auburn fans, list tickets for sale on Stub Hub, and cut down on fraudulent tickets getting into the stadium.
Helpful Tips for getting through line quicker with traditional or print at home tickets:
1) Have your tickets out and ready
2) Each person in your group should hold their own ticket
3) Please present you ticket with the bar code facing up
4) Do not bend or crease the bar code

Helpful Tips for getting through line quicker with mobile delivery tickets:
1) Have your tickets on your phone screen and ready
2) Be ready to scroll down to the next bar code after each successful scan
3) Do not select mobile delivery if you do not have a smartphone

Having a problem with your ticket scanning? The Auburn Arena Box Office opens at 8:00 am for games that kick-off at 1:00 pm or before and at 10 am for games that begin after 1:00 pm. Gate 0 and 13 are also designated trouble shooting stations and are staffed beginning 30 minutes before the gates open through halftime. There are also three conveniently located box offices at Jordan Hare to help with any ticket scanning troubles, one is located on the West Side between gates 13-14 and there are two located on the East Side of the Stadium.
Tips for your Safety and Security:
• Do not take pictures of your tickets and post online. Barcodes can be stolen and tickets counterfeited.

• Do not photocopy Print At Home tickets. Only one ticket scan per seat will be allowed entry. Once a barcode has been successfully scanned, any identical barcodes will be denied entry to Jordan-Hare Stadium.

• Confirmation emails are not Print At Home or Mobile delivery tickets. A separate email with PDF attachment will be sent for tickets purchased. The entire attachment contains each ticket ordered and should be printed and presented at the gate for entry in the case of print at home tickets. Mobile delivery tickets are also sent in a separate PDF attachment and should be opened and ready on your phone screen for entrance into the stadium. Each ticket will consist of one page. Please remember to bring each of these Print At Home tickets if you ordered multiple tickets.

• Please contact the ticket office in advance of gameday if you are having trouble with the delivery and printing of Print At or Mobile Delivery tickets. Tickets should be printed prior to arrival to the stadium on gameday or opened and ready on your phone screen for mobile tickets.

• If you transfer, reprint, or sell your tickets through Stub Hub then the barcode on the original tickets will be voided and is no longer valid for entry. Only active barcodes will be allowed entry.

For those who have gotten to campus and discovered you have forgotten your paper tickets, just go to the ticket office at Auburn arena and they will re-issue you a new set of valid tickets for the game for a $10 fee. They will, of course, deactivate the bar code of your original ticket at the same time.

Sounds like the same technology Delta is using at the airport.
