Hog Fans: How much improvement do you realistically expect in the W-L column?

You guys return talent and there's usually a significant jump from a coach's 1st season vs. their 2nd season.
What's the pulse on expectations this year?

I tend to agree about the 5-7 win range. Where do y'all see the W's coming from?

The talent is getting there but still is not close to where it needs to be. We are still very thin in important areas. We will be a much improved team this year but so will everyone else. I do not think it will show much in the W-L column.
I am expecting 4-6 wins.

According to the "official season prediction" thread, it looks like most Hog fans see us going 5-7 or 6-6. I think that's probably about right.

6-6 is my most optimistic outlook but we'll see flashes this year that give us confidence for the future. The biggest wild card is the defense.

I think that the Hogs running game will destroy the Aggies defense this year.

6-6. TAMU, Georgia, Ole Mis our conf wins.

7-5 is probably tops, barring a freak win vs. Auburn, Georgia, LSU, or Ole Miss. Still think we are a year or two away from really competing, and will probably drop one or more of the wins I predict.
Oh, and since the entire SEC rant will claim we all swore it, 14-0, National Champions. Book it. Write it down. Heard it here first. Take it to the bank. Print the shirts.
